Some people asked if they can play the SlipStream videos in world in Second Life ®

Here is a short tutorial how you can find the correct URL for the SL-friendly Quicktime file:

If you are on the Jim Gustafson show page in blip.tv, switch to the Episode Archive

Now, you can select the video you want to play in SL:

If the video shows up, go to the bottom and select from the dropdown menu “Play episode as”:

The SL-friendly movie is always stored as “Portable (iPod) - Quicktime (.mov)”, so select this format:

Now, please go down on the page. At the page bottom you will find a link “Download Playing”. If you right-click with your mouse, you will be able to copy the link adress.

Use this URL to put it in SL as media stream.
