A TV-Serial produced in the Second Life ® Community, distributed on the Interent?

Most of us may be bored by bad TV serials or reruns that nobody want to see again. Old classics like the “twilight-zone” or other exciting series are no longer produced.

But now we have the Internet, everybody can do his/her own weblog. Producing an audio or video is easy. You don’t need expensive sets or actors, you can use virtual worlds on the Internet. Building and playing will be much easier.

SlipStream-Productions will show you, that producing a TV-serial is possible even on a very small budget. We have chosen Second Life (SL) because it was pronounced dead by the press already. We don’t use SL for dancing and partying, we rather use it as production platform. Even team meetings are possible here without travelling around.

The serial “SlipStream” that you find here is an experimental project. It should show, that a virtual movie production is possible without a large budget. The quality of the episodes may not be suitable for TV but all team members did this in their free time without pay.

Our SlipStream Team is also available for professional video production. With a reasonable budget we for example can hire professional voice actors, so that an affordable promotional video for your company is feasible.
